ALPHA PHI OMEGA IN ACTION
Over the last month, Alpha Phi Omega has certainly been busy helping Kansas City.
The UMKC service group has fed the homeless, picked produce for food pantries, helped operate children parties, assisted major charity fundraisers and more. Ten events with 10 different area charities is an unbelievable rate of volunteer service, and they’ve done it all in just five weeks.
Thanks to their efforts, including the 2014 KC Marathon pictured below, and all the contributions from our past volunteers, we have now surpassed 1,000 volunteer service hours. In total, we have helped 29 charities by providing 356 volunteers and amassing 1,026 service hours in the process.
And we are just getting started. Join the movement today — help us help others right here in Kansas City.
