The Call KC partners up to expand its mission

We have some exciting news to share: We’ve come together with our friends at Serve KC, SocialHeart and KC 2040 to expand our volunteer opportunities throughout the city. With these partnerships, we will be able to reach more individuals and provide even more service opportunities throughout the community.  

“Our partnerships with each of these organizations will allow us to further expand our mission,” says Brent Lager, President and Co-Founder of The Call KC. “We have been working together for awhile now, but we are excited to see what these strategic partnerships mean for our future and the charities we serve throughout the metro.”

Serve KC provides an easy, convenient outlet for individuals who are looking to volunteer throughout the community. Volunteer’s can pick and choose from a list of service opportunities based on individual preference and bring guests to serve with them at the events. Check out some of their opportunities to serve here.

SocialHeart provides support for local charities by creating unique fundraising events for local charities. Donations from these events are given to one of the 30 different charities throughout Kansas City, with a different charity selected each time. They also assist charities with social media exposure, marketing and volunteer support. Since 2013, SocialHeart has donated $100,000 dollars to charities in need. Similarly, KC 2040 sponsors fundraising events to connect people with local businesses in order to raise money for non-profits. Events can easily be accessed through KC 2040’s webpage, where individuals can also purchase tickets for upcoming events.
