KC Crew pub crawl to support The Call KC

It’s nearly fall, which means once again the zombie apocalypse is descending upon Kansas City.

On Sept. 10, KC Crew will host the 5th annual End of the World Pub Crawl once again — but this time with a slight change. This year, the event organizers will graciously be donating a portion of the proceeds to The Call Kansas City’s youth and education programs for the 2016-17 school year.

The more volunteers we can recruit, the larger the donation. So if you’re looking for a fun way to help increase volunteerism among our youth, this is it — and we need the help.

The event will be held at Martini Corner (400 E 31st Street) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The shifts are outlined below, but sign up here for us to get credit.

  • Morning Registration 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • Afternoon Registration 1-4:30 p.m.
  • Be a Morning Zombie and chase down pub crawlers 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Be an Afternoon Zombie and chase down pub crawlers 2-5 p.m.

Volunteers must be 18 years or older and wear clothing they don’t mind getting dirty or possibly ripped. Professional makeup artists will do the makeup for all zombie volunteers.

We’re hoping to recruit 40 volunteers so groups are encouraged. Lastly, if you’re still on the fence about signing up, feel free to check out the links below and see how much fun this is.
