When: Monday, Nov. 26 from 6-9 p.m.

Size: 20 volunteers needed

Details: New Volunteer & Mentor Training is provided to anyone interested in volunteering their time and talents in either our Adult Residential Center or Juvenile Detention Center. Their greatest need at this time is for Mentors, to work individually with an adult client. Changing is hard, and many of their clients are expected to change everything about their life. Having a mentor means having an individual support system to call on when needed and discuss goals, problem solve, and resource map. Mentors don't have to have all the answers, there is an entire team behind you helping you every step of the way. Once matched, we ask for a 12 month commitment to work individually with your mentee, meeting approximately every 2 weeks.
