Lead to Read KC Get Schooled Fundraiser

The 3rd annual Get Schooled Fundraiser for Lead to Read KC will take place on Saturday, Aug. 28. The event invites adults to feel like kids again as they explore the engaging indoor and outdoor spaces at Wonderscope Children’s Museum. With 30,000 square feet and a half-acre of outdoor fun, there’s plenty of room for everyone to enjoy themselves while being socially distanced.

Volunteers are needed to help with set-up, greeting, registration and experience stations. Shifts range from 3 to 5.5 hours, with both afternoon and evening opportunities available. Lead to Read KC is dedicated to improving child literacy and providing trusted adult mentors to 1st-3rd students in the Kansas City area.
