We got contacted earlier this week about the humane shelter’s need for volunteers a day before for this May 10 event. Thus, we posted the opportunity on our VolunteerMark schedule. Visit it now to sign-up.

• Where = Overland Park Convention Center at 6000 College Boulevard
• When = May 9, 2014. Shift times begin at 10:30 a.m. and end at 5:30 p.m.
• Who = Wayside Waifs’ Fur Ball Fundraiser
• What = Tasks range from prepping the silent auction to helping with the booths’ piping and drape installation.
