Two years ago, we started this journey. Two-thousand service hours, 800 volunteers and 42 charities served later, it’s time to take a moment and celebrate.
Words can’t explain the appreciation we have for everyone who made this organization into what it is today. The dream of helping as many people as possible has slowly become a reality, and we’re adding more and more volunteer groups and charities by the week.
With all that said, we’re ready to host our first event and since we never officially had a launch party, we thought it was about time. Thus, we cordially invite you and everyone you know to The Call Kansas City’s Launch Party on Tuesday, April 28. From 6-9 p.m. at McFadden’s Sports Saloon inside the Power & Light District (1330 Grand Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64105), we’re going to have some fun.
From music bingo to half-priced food and drinks to raffle prizes and of course a little dancing, we plan to celebrate the only way we know how…awesomely. We’re also going to do what we do best — schedule some volunteer outings — as we’ll have volunteer opportunities available with an upwards of 100 spots to fill.
Early bird tickets are on sale now for $10 ($15 at the door) while T-shirts, raffle tickets and donation opportunities will be available at the event. Proceeds will go to The Call KC. As a 501c3 organization, all monetary gifts and purchases are tax deductible.
