Join us for the 2nd Annual UKC Poker Tournament on Friday, Dec. 7. Slated for 5:30-10 p.m. at the Union Library event space (1317 Union Avenue, KCMO 64101), come enjoy a fun night of games with good friends, great food and better drinks, plus much more!
Early-bird tickets cost $30 per player (normally $40) and $240 for a table of 8 (normally $320). Each player gets poker, a catered dinner, drink tickets and access to other game activities. The tournament is perfect for experienced and new players alike; an awesome way to learn the game while having fun and supporting a great cause.
All funds raised will go towards expanding the UKC Discovery Education Program, which has helped over 22,000 students complete more than 55,000 community service hours in the Kansas City since 2013.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
You must be 21+ to attend.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is street parking available all around the Union Library event space at 1317 Union Avenue, KCMO 64101. Feel free to park wherever you can fit.
What’s the event timeline?
Registration begins at 5:30 p.m., we shuffle up and deal at 6 p.m. We aim to have the tournament done by 10 p.m. yet will stay as long as needed. If you get busted and don’t want to buy back in, you can leave whenever but please feel free to hang out as much as you’d like. It’s a party!
If I’m new to poker and not very good at it, can I still play?
Absolutely. The tournament is perfect for new and experienced players alike. An awesome way to learn the game while having fun and supporting a great cause.
What’s the refund policy?
As this is a charitable event, all sales are final. However, your ticket is transferable. If you can’t come, give it to a friend!
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You can or you can show your ticket receipt on your phone. We will have a list of attendees to cross reference.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Yes, you may give your ticket to a friend.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?
Can I purchase my ticket at the door?
Yes, but we heavily prefer you to buy tickets in advance. Seats are limited and it helps us plan for food/drinks.
