2025 Garmin Kansas City Marathon

Garmin Kansas City Marathon’s mission is to promote healthy living and the city’s beauty by creating one of the best race experiences in the region. The event proceeds will benefit local nonprofits such as The Women’s Inter-sport Network for Kansas City (WIN for KC) and Team World Vision.

The Garmin Kansas City Marathon needs volunteers on Saturday, October 18, 6:30 am to 1:30 pm. Nearly 200 course monitors volunteers are needed to make this amazing race a success and volunteers will receive a free t-shirt for the 5-hour shift. Grant group options are available to raise money for other organizations as well. This is a great opportunity to get service hours, support your city, and help local nonprofits.

Volunteer opportunities include acting as course monitors.  A course monitor is a volunteer stationed at an intersection along the course, keeping cars off the race track, reporting any problems/issues to staff, and cheering on runners as they go by.
