Hydration Kits with North Kansas City Rotary Club District 6040
Service Above Self. For over 125 years, that has been the mantra for Rotary clubs all over the world, including right here in Kansas City. The North Kansas City Rotary Club District 6040 are dedicated people who share a passion for community service and friendship. They are people of action, and the club would love to invite you to come serve with them.
From 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, volunteers will create hydration kits for World Cup visitors as well as the NKC YMCA Cooling Center. These kits and their corresponding notes of welcome and encouragement will be used to help those in need beat the summer heat. After kit completion, volunteers will help pass them out to event guests.
The volunteer project will take place at the GOOOOAL North KC Watch Party Series event at Armour Road and Swift Street. Whether you’re a club member or not, everyone is welcome to attend. In fact, all non-member volunteers will receive a complimentary 90-day membership to the North Kansas City club for their time and service.
