Mayor’s Holiday Festival with Downtown Overland Park
Downtown Overland Park’s charming past and small-town flavor have grown into a modern and vast array of nearly 300 locally owned and operated businesses. The area is known for its strong community and thriving farmer’s market – as well as great food, the arts, and friendly local businesses lining the walkable streets.
Volunteers are needed on Friday, November 20, from 4:30 – 8:00 p.m. to support the free activities such as arts & crafts, kids train ride, meet and greet with Santa, Ice Princesses, The Grinch, watch live music, shop early on your holiday gifts from the Mistletoe Market, chow down from the local restaurants or food trucks and watch the Mayor flip the lights on the tree.
Volunteer opportunities include: set-up/take-down, info booth aid, market monitoring, Santa line management, and additional opportunities.
