Impact

The mission of Green Works in Kansas City is to empower Kansas City’s future leaders to care for the environment, contribute to the economy, and create healthy communities. Programs involve nature exploration, outdoor service projects, green careers, sustainable business and real-world work experiences.

Volunteer opportunities include helping students with outdoor, environmental service projects; assisting Excelerate students with career exploration, practice interviews, creating master resumes and group opportunities for advocacy, fundraising and skill-based tasks.
