The American Red Cross’s mission is to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors. American Red Cross of Missouri serves Missouri and surrounding communities in Illinois and Kansas with disaster relief, life-saving blood, training, certifications, and support for members and families of the armed forces.
Volunteer opportunities include assisting with blood collection and transportation, being a donor ambassador, joining a Disaster Action Team and helping with shelter and health services during crisis situations.
