Grandparents for Gun Safety

Impact

Grandparents for Gun Safety’s mission is to work for solutions, educating the community and seeking common ground reform that respects the rights of gun owners and non-owners alike. One way the grassroots organization promotes gun safety is through the Lock It For Love (LIFL) project, which involves distributing gun locks and educational material at community events all over the metro.

Volunteer opportunities include helping to expand the LIFL program by participating in community events, distributing locks, and assisting with the program’s management. Board and committee opportunities also available.
