Lee's Summit Social Services

Impact

Lee’s Summit Social Services’ mission is to assist low-income, elderly, and/or disabled persons with emergency needs while enabling them to maintain their dignity and learning to set and meet realistic goals, which will lead to greater independence. Services include food pantry, special programs, rental/utility assistance and more for residents in the areas of Lee’s Summit, Lake Lotawana, Greenwood, and Lone Jack.

Volunteer opportunities include food pantry assistance, administrative work, working with the thrift store, special programs and event support, and special group service opportunities.
