Pet Resource Center of Kansas City

Impact

Pet Resource Center of Kansas City’s (formerly Spay and Neuter KC) mission is to decrease pet homelessness, increase pet retention and improve the quality of life for pets through education and supportive services for families in need.

Volunteer opportunities include wellness clinic assistant, sit-n-serve, pet runner, pet food pantry, clinic check-in booth, and kennel attendant. Special opportunities are available Monday through Friday as a Pet Resource Assistant where volunteers will sort donations, prep vet supplies and more; and as a Pet Arrival Coordinator where volunteers will welcome pet owners as they arrive, direct clients for appointments and more.
