Warriors' Best Friend

Impact

Warriors’ Best Friend’s mission is to adopts dogs from local shelters, train them to be service dogs and match them at no cost to America’s military veterans suffering from PTSD and TBI. Warriors Best Friend provides critical help to the nation’s Wounded Warriors and a fresh start for a rescued dog. Volunteer opportunities include donating dog supplies, hosting fundraising events, and more. To volunteer, you must complete a background check, be 18 or older, and have a working phone number.

Volunteer opportunities include supervising dog playgroups, grooming, dog walking and basic kennel maintenance including mopping, sanitizing kennels, filling water bowls.
