20/20 Leadership: Career & Business Expo

The 20/20 Leadership Career and Business Expo is slated for Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Kansas City Urban Youth Academy.

The expo serves as an opportunity for area sophomore, junior, and senior student leaders to meet with professionals from a variety of businesses and organizations, providing space to learn about career opportunities that exist after high school as well as the skills and education needed for the workplace. It also allows students the chance to practice their soft skills, such as how to conduct a proper handshake and making eye contact. Set-up is similar to a job fair, as students will have dedicated time to engage with professionals during allotted time frames throughout the morning.

Business and organization vendors are needed. There is no cost to attend this event, but space is limited so please register as soon as possible to reserve your spot.
