Career Jumping with Prep KC

Prep KC’s mission is to ignite potential by bringing educators and industry professionals together to build paths to meaningful careers for students across the heart of bistate Kansas City. Prep KC serves as the region’s leading intermediary serving 9 urban school districts and transforms how students prepare for success after high school.

Volunteers are needed on Thursday, September 24, from 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm, to join Prep KC to share your career and industry at their Career Jumping event at Argentine Middle School for 6th grade students. Volunteers will talk to small groups of students in a speed-networking format about their career and educational background; sharing their name, occupation/company, educational background, current role and the skills necessary to be successful in their career.

Volunteer opportunities include: career path speaking, sharing professional experiences, event proctoring, and additional opportunities.
