Festival of Reading with Turn the Page KC

Turn the Page KC is looking for helpers to staff the Spring Festival of Reading from 12 – 6 P.M. on May 10 at the KC Urban Youth Center. This event is a free indoor family event where all attendees take home brand new books; ensuring that children gain the literacy skills they need to create a lifetime of opportunity. Families will be able to build their home library with performers, resources, and books for all ages.

Volunteer opportunities include: handling books, setting up tables, organizing book displays, checking in guests, assisting vendors, assisting guests, and additional opportunities.
