Help Children Believe in the Future with Junior Achievement
Junior Achievement BizTown’s mission is to combine in-class learning with a day-long visit to a simulated town. This popular learning experience allows elementary school students to operate banks, manage restaurants, write checks, and vote for mayor. Students are able to connect the dots between what they learn in school and the real world.
Volunteers are needed on Wednesday, November 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to help every student who enters Junior Achievement BizTown arrives with dreams, questions, and untapped potential. During their visit, they step into the roles of business leaders, employees, consumers, and community members, gaining hands-on experience with the skills they’ll need to succeed.
Volunteer opportunities include: student encouragement, conversation aid, leadership support, workforce readiness prep, and additional opportunities.
