KC Parks Earth Day

Kansas City Parks’ mission is to improve the quality of life, health and wellness of our community by providing socially equitable, community-driven programming and environmentally sound natural resource management.

KC Parks will be hosting Kansas City’s largest Earth Day weekend ever on April 21-23. Earth Day Weekend 2023 will be the perfect time for everyone — individuals, organizations, businesses, and families — to rally together to help beautify our city. Volunteer site leaders will provide bags, gloves, and location assignments at the check-in areas. Minors must be accompanied by an adult (1 adult for up to three children ages 6-12; or 1 adult for up to 10 teenagers).

Once you register,  all you have to do is show up to your site on either April 21, 22, or 23 in pants and closed-toe shoes and have fun giving back with your team. Instructions, bags, and gloves will be provided, but bring your own gloves if you have them. Don’t forget a reusable water bottle!
