Pumpkin Roll Rally with Kansas City Soap Box Derby

Soap Box Derby KC’s mission is to build knowledge and character, and to create meaningful experiences through collaboration, fair and honest racing competitions, STEM curriculum, and other community-focused activities.

Volunteers are needed on Saturday, October 17, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to help run the annual pumpkin roll rally. Racers and families from nearby states are expected to attend and compete for points to qualify for the 89th All American Soapbox Derby world championship.  The event will conclude with a pumpkin decorating and “roll” contest on our hill.

Volunteer opportunities include: lift cars at the bottom of the hill, run the starting ramps, guest support, and additional opportunities.
