Invest in KC’s Students This Winter!

Giving Tuesday is almost here, and there’s no better time to donate to our Real World Learning and KC Field Trips programs. Every dollar donated goes to providing kids with educational experiences that inspire engagement with their local communities, whether that’s through a field trip to one of KC’s many cultural landmarks, a day of service at school, or an internship that cultivates important career skills. Just this past fall, Uncover KC was able to make a big impact thanks to supporters like you! Here’s a snapshot of what we were able to accomplish this past semester:

• • 1,255 students joined KC Field Trips

  • 47 educators received field trip support

  • 18 trips were funded through grants

  • 441 students participated in Real World Learning programming

And there is still more work to do! This upcoming spring:

• • 6 field trips still need funding
  • $2,500 is needed to fulfill current requests

  • 256+ students will be impacted

These programs matter because they help students learn in real settings around Kansas City and exposes them to the arts, STEM, and highlights potential careers. When you support these experiences, you give students the chance to build real-world skills and learn more about their city.

Every donation makes a difference for our community’s students. We understand not everyone is in a position to give–even if you can’t donate right now, sharing our mission and opportunities to donate can go a long way.
