A Turning Point
Impact
The mission of A Turning Point is to support families by providing basic needs and education equipping them for self-sufficiency. There are a variety of opportunities to volunteer for all ages whether that’s as a group and individually.
Volunteers can assist the food pantry with filling orders, clean-up and customer service. Volunteer assistance is also needed in the wardrobe by helping guests shop for necessary clothing from donated clothing supplies.
At the Turning Point Academy, volunteers can tutor/mentor, teach life skills class, grade papers, assist with technology and more. The facility also needs help with mowing, routine or deep seasonal cleaning, building renovation projects and maintenance jobs.
