Northland Therapeutic Riding Center
The mission of Northland Therapeutic Riding Center is to provide a place for children, teens, and adults with physical, emotional, and behavioral special needs come to discover strength, build confidence, and find joy through meaningful connections with horses.
Volunteer opportunities include assisting riders in classes by being horse leaders and side walkers — giving them the ability to receive stated — as well as helping with grooming and tacking, fundraising and event planning, photography and office skills. Volunteers need to be 14 years of age or older and in good physical condition to lead horses or sidewalk with our riders.
