Northland Therapeutic Riding Center

Impact

The mission of Northland Therapeutic Riding Center is to improve the quality of life for persons with special needs through equine assisted activities and therapies. Giving hope to their future one ride at a time.

Volunteer opportunities include assisting riders in classes by being horse leaders and side walkers — giving them the ability to receive stated — as well as helping with grooming and tacking, fundraising and event planning, photography and office skills. Volunteers need to be 14 years of age or older and in good physical condition to lead horses or sidewalk with our riders.
