Make a difference this fall with Socktober
In hopes of helping remedy this problem, Socktober was established as an annual sock drive throughout October to aid the homeless and people in need and encourage people to donate cozy socks to ensure the warmth of more vulnerable citizens.
Participation is easy — just sign-up using the form below and then collect cozy socks and other essential items throughout the month. When October ends, an Uncover KC representative will take care of picking up the donated items and coordinate the delivery of the items. If you’re looking for a fun and easy way to get your community involved, set-up a donation box and encourage your friends, classmates, coworkers or family members to donate.
While October may be a month filled with fun and fright, not everyone has the opportunity to enjoy it comfortably. Join us in sharing warmth and joy to more people as the fall season begins.
