Leavenworth Animal Welfare Society’s mission is dedicated to the benefit of animals and reducing pet overpopulation. Leavenworth Animal Welfare Society’s outreach program offers free spay/neuter for all cats and dogs of Leavenworth County residents. paying for over 20,000 spay/neuter procedures.
Volunteer opportunities include: making comfort blankets & comfort boxes, hosting a bake sale or fund drive, collecting items and food needed at the shelter, organizing food drive items, and providing a foster home.
