Ascend Health - Hospice Care (Kansas)

Ascend Health’s mission is to provide compassionate quality care and bring wellness to communities to help improve quality of life. The organizations uses a personalized holistic approach to hospice care that includes relief of pain and symptoms, emotional and spiritual support for both patients and loved ones.

Volunteer opportunities include companionship & support visits, providing music as a comfort measure, certified pet therapy, and administrative office support. Military veteran support is also needed for fellow veterans through companionship and/or participating in veterans pinning ceremonies.
