Giving The Basics
Impact
Giving the Basics’ mission is to bring improved health, hope, and dignity to struggling children and adults through the procurement, fulfillment, and distribution of hygiene products. They provide the necessities of life, not covered by government assistance programs, that most people take for granted.
They have individual and group volunteer opportunities that range from sorting and packaging hygiene products to helping on product pick up days. Volunteers can attend their Community Night which occurs on the Second Tuesday every month, or they have weekly opportunities on Tuesday and Thursdays.
