Hillcrest Platte County

Impact

Hillcrest Platte County’s mission is to offer supportive services for individuals and families who are homeless or insecurely housed to achieve sustainable independence. Their primary objective is to move clients from homelessness to self-sufficiency by addressing the total life situation of homeless families they serve.

Volunteer opportunities include working in the thrift shop assisting with sorting and tagging donations, displays, cashering, and greeting shoppers; assisting with the Housing department as a prayer partner, mentors, budget counselors, providing welcome baskets, assisting with work days; and assisting with annual events.
