HACK the DREAM with i.c.stars

The mission of i.c.stars is to prepare change-driven, inner city future leaders to develop skills in business and technology for high-level careers in information technology through training in technology, leadership, and business skills.

Their upcoming event, Hack the Dream, combines social, cultural, historical and political contexts to determine digital equity. Attendees will see in real time how solutions can be identified through the lens of tech innovators and community partners to create a larger social impact. This year’s event celebrates Black History Month, the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the vitally important cause of digital equity and bridging the digital divide.

Volunteer roles include assisting with participant and guest check-in, providing directions, set-up and take down of the event, and more opportunities.
