Heart of America Shakespeare Festival 2022

KC Shake’s mission is to make the works of Shakespeare and Shakespeare-inspired works accessible to a diverse audience through a free, professional, outdoor festival, and additional free and paid performances and educational programs. June 14th- July 3rd, The 2022 Heart of America Shakespeare Festival will be showing Romeo and Juliet at Southmoreland Park.

Volunteers are needed for audience counting, handing out programs, managing the nightly raffle,  and selling merchandise, food, and drinks. Volunteers are required to be in the park by 5:30pm and most volunteers will be finished by 9:30pm, though some jobs may be completed as early as 8:00pm. All volunteers get early access to our general seating area and an invitation to our annual Volunteer Picnic and final dress rehearsal.
