Pet Food Pantry: Help Feed Hungry Pets

The mission of the Pet Resource Center of Kansas City is to decrease pet homelessness, increase pet retention and improve the quality of life for pets through education and supportive services for families in need.

Volunteers are needed to assist with running the pet food pantry and assisting with helping set-up, directing traffic, collecting food and delivering it to vehicles, unloading materials, and cleaning up the pantry at the end of shift. Please note that the Food Pantry is run as a drive-through service. Volunteers should be prepared to do at least some work outdoors, remain standing or walking for the duration of the event, and may be asked to do some heavy/bulky lifting.
