Sleepyhead beds

Sleepyhead Beds improves the quality of life for children and their families by providing clean, reusable beds and bedding. The organization contributes to the health and environment of the KC community by sanitizing beds and keeping them out of landfills, and is the only organization in the metro area who is focused solely on this mission.

All volunteers need to be able to lift and move mattresses — with a partner — to a client’s vehicle. The nonprofit is also needing volunteers on the following dates from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with three-hour shifts available: Thursday, Sept. 30; Thursday, Oct. 7; and Friday, Oct 29.
