Summit Art Plein Air Festival
Summit Art’s mission is to encourage and promote artists and visual arts in Lee’s Summit and beyond. One of their signature annual festivals is the Summit Art Plein Air Festival, which will be during the weekend of April 8-10, 2022 at Crestview Dairy in Kansas City, MO.
The event features over 100 artists painting live “en plein air” on 31 acres of historic property along with activities such as 2.3K ArtWalk/FunRun, Kids Fishing Derby, Fine Art Photography Exhibition, Art Competition and Sale, live performances by the Lee’s Summit Symphony, and food & beverage trucks.
Volunteers are needed to greet guests, provide general support to activities, assist artists, serve as parking attendants, give directions and help with set up and clean up.
