Details: Volunteers will assist with set-up, food service, tickets table, raffle and clean-up. All ages welcome. The Village Crawfish Festival is a great yearly event to benefit KC area charities. The mission of Kansas City Community Gardens is to assist low-income households and community groups in the KC area to produce vegetables and fruit from garden plots located in backyard, vacant lots, and at community sites. Volunteers who work during the event or during clean-up will receive a free ticket to the event ($60 value). Those who volunteer to set up before the event will receive half off their ticket, making it only $30. This allows them all of the crawfish, barbeque, and beer (or soft drinks) they would like, as well as great entertainment.
