Welcome Mikaela Papageorgiou to Uncover KC
It’s a pleasure to announce the newest addition to our full-time staff — Mikaela Papageorgiou.
Tabbed to lead our various service and education programs, Mikaela brings a wealth of knowledge, energy and innovation to the Director of Programming position.
In June 2020, Mikaela Papageorgiou became the new UKC Director of Programming.
She recently received her Bachelor of Arts in Nonprofit Leadership, Communication Studies and Applied Critical Thought and Inquiry from William Jewell College. In addition, she held membership in the Mortar Board Honors Program, Lambda Pi Eta Communications Honor Society and Pryor Leadership Fellowship.
During her time at Jewell, Mikaela interned at a variety of different nonprofits and businesses in the metro area, including The HALO Foundation, Sporting Kansas City, Union Station and Hillcrest Hope Transitional Housing. She currently volunteers with New Roots for Refugees.
Mikaela grew up in Piper, Kansas, is the youngest of 4 sisters and as we’ve learned, is an ardent coffee lover. Please join us as we welcome Mikaela to the UKC family!
