Community Action Agency of Greater Kansas City

Impact

The mission of the Community Action Agency of Greater Kansas City is to provide low-income residents of Clay, Jackson and Platte counties in Missouri comprehensive support services that help them become self-sufficient. There are four main programs: Supportive Services, Healthy Homes, Weatherization and Youth Services.

Volunteers are needed to assist with their Community Action Poverty Simulation (CAPS), which gives participants a glimpse into the structural barriers people in poverty face. Volunteers will assist as role-playing various providers and employers in this simulation.
