After the Harvest

Impact

The mission of After the Harvest is to fight hunger, improve nutrition and reduce food waste by rescuing fresh produce and distributing it to organizations that feed hungry people.

After the Harvest helps create a big impact–rescuing and delivering thousands of pounds of fresh produce to area shelters, food pantries and community kitchens primarily in Greater Kansas City. We’re all in this together. Volunteer and bring your own skills, talents and time to make a difference.

Bring your family and friends, corporate co-workers and congregations, groups and organizations to glean (harvest what’s left over) with After the Harvest. Together, you’ll rescue fruits and vegetables from farms, orchards and gardens. Then, deliver the produce fresh from the field to pantries, kitchens and shelters feeding our hungry neighbors.
