Our first benefit concert won’t be lacking in local star power.
As president of The Call Kansas City, I’m happy to announce that Diego and Enrique Chi of Making Movies will be headlining the 2015 Call KC Benefit Concert, along with several other special guests including Odd Harmona. The show will be held from 7-10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19 at The Tank Room at 1813 Grand Boulevard. Tickets are now on sale at this link and all proceeds will go toward our nonprofit organization.
We’re beyond grateful and excited to have Diego and Enrique, Odd Harmona and our other special guests perform at our show. Since we’re a grassroots organization, we wanted to feature local bands and partners that share our same passion and love for Kansas City. Making Movies, Odd Harmona, The Tank Room, Central States Beverage and all our other sponsors represent Kansas City proudly, and we’re happy they’re supporting our cause. We hope you will join them by attending our benefit concert.
Doors open at 6 p.m. with the show starting at 7 p.m. Each ticket includes:
- A free drink courtesy of Santa Fe Brewing Company.
- A free raffle ticket courtesy of 96.5 The Buzz and The Aladdin Hotel.

About Making Movies:
Making Movies is an American band based out of Kansas City. Built on a heavy foundation of Afro-Latino rhythms, they’ve created a bilingual, psychedelic re-envisioning of the Latin American “son.” The quartet has opened for Los Lobos, Cold War Kids, Neon Indian and Mariachi El Bronx among others.
