Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City

Impact

Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City’s mission is to clear the path to a child’s future by matching them with a caring, adult mentor in a one-to-one friendship. “Bigs” help “Littles” ignite, empower and defend their potential by standing with them.

Volunteer opportunities include becoming a Big, serving at events/fundraisers or participating on organizational steering committee. Bigs must be 21 years of age or older, have a valid driver’s license and be willing to commit to a long-term volunteer experience (minimum one-year, however, most friendships last much longer).
