Summit Art

Impact

Summit Art’s mission is to encourage and promote artists and visual arts in Lee’s Summit and beyond. They provide cultural engagement through opportunities for networking, professional development, art education, exhibitions, events and recognition for members and the art community.

Volunteer opportunities include greeting guests, providing general support to activities, assisting artists, serving as parking attendants, giving directions, and helping set up and clean during their two signature annual festivals, the Summit Art Festival and the Summit Art Plein Air Festival. These events attract thousands of patrons and hundreds of distinguished artists from all across the country.
