Heartland Tree Alliance – Tree Planting in Dunn Park/Tri-Blenheim Area

Heartland Tree Alliance-Bridging The Gap works to make the Kansas City region sustainable by “connecting environment, economy and community,” and is the premier organization in the area providing environmental education.

Join Heartland Tree Alliance to plant trees throughout Kansas City. Volunteers are needed to help plant trees in the Dunn Park and Tri-Blenheim area. Come plant trees and leave a legacy for generations to come.

Trees slow traffic speeds, filter air and water pollutants, and provide shade to cool the rising temperatures in summer. Over time, trees help slow climate change by removing carbon dioxide from the air, storing carbon in the trees and soil, and releasing oxygen into the atmosphere.
