MINDDRIVE Invitational Race
The mission of MINDDRIVE is to explore, inspire, and expand possibilities through equitable access to support, education, collaboration and mentoring so all students recognize, believe in, and pursue their greatest potential. Their upcoming event, the MINDDRIVE Invitational is a family-friendly event where MINDDRIVE students race their one-of-a-kind student-built lightweight battery-powered cars, with the goal of completing the most laps in a 1-hour race. The MINDDRIVE team will race against other high schools/teams from across Kansas in two race heats to compete for Electrorally awards.
Volunteers are needed to assist with team check-in/registration, monitoring the race course, event tear-down and more. There are two shifts available:
- Shift 1 at 6a-11:30a (team check-in/registration, monitoring the race course, the kids area, etc.)
- Shift 2 at 11:30a-5p (monitoring the race course, the kids area, event tear-down/cleanup, etc.)
